After spending nine years with a major manufacturer of building systems, Harold L. McCullough Sr. founded Concept Electronics, Inc. on July 1, 1968. In the 40 years since it’s inception, Concept Electronics, Inc. has grown to 25 full time employees with 9000 square feet of office and warehouse space.
In February 2001, Concept Electronics, Inc. reached ISO 9001 Registration under Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL). THE ISO 9000 Series Standards are internationally recognized quality management system requirements developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 9001, the most comprehensive Standard in the ISO 9000 Series, covers design, manufacturing, installation and servicing systems. As part of the ISO 9001 requirements, UL will periodically conduct routine surveillance audits of Concept Electronics, Inc. to determine continued compliance with the ISO 9001 standards.

Concept Electronics, Inc. designs, markets, installs and maintains the following systems: security, fire, access control, closed circuit television, automatic parking and revenue control, intercom and sound, time accounting, master clock, and FM200 extinguishing. These systems safeguard life and property from a wide range of hazards, and provide information and control, to make facilities more efficient and productive. In order to perform its task effectively, Concept Electronics, Inc. relies on its dedicated employees organized into specialized groups within the company.

Concept Electronics, Inc. is the leader in combining products from top tier manufacturers into complete integrated building systems. Engineering:
This group maintains Concept Electronics, Inc.'s state-of-the-art level of technology for electronic systems and provides Concept Electronics, Inc. with the ability to custom design systems to satisfy even the most sophisticated customer needs.
Service:
Concept Electronics, Inc. trained service personnel ensures that installations will be supported professionally, with the responsibility of maintaining all equipment they install.
Marketing:
Concept Electronics, Inc.'s trained marketing staff ensures that the appropriate equipment, providing the most cost-effective systems, will be furnished to the customer.
INSTALLATION AND SERVICE NETWORK
Concept Electronics, Inc. maintains an installation and service network of experienced, certified professionals. On staff are electronic and industrial technology engineering graduates, MCSE certified technicians, and NICET(National for Certification in Engineering Technologies) certified technicians. All Technicians have a minimum of an associates degree or military electronics, receive factory training and work toward NICET certification. This program also aids electronic technicians and engineering graduates with industry installation and service techniques.
Only subcontractors with a commitment to quality and a proven track record are permitted on Concept Electronics’ quality vendor list (QVL). These subcontractors are used for installation only and all technical and service duties are preformed by only Concept technicians and engineers.
When a customer requests service, they do so by contacting the nearest of three offices. Service is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week serving thousands of customers in Louisiana and Mississippi.

The Company Consists of Two Divisions, Time and Attendance, and Building Systems. The Time and Attendance Division provides products and services for electronic and software based labor management systems and punch clocks. The Building Systems Division provides products and services for building and campus type systems such as fire alarm, security, intercom, parking, master clock, etc.
